Job Title Food Manufacturing Sanitation WorkerLocation: 1609 Stone Ridge Drive, Stone Mountain, GA, 30083, United StatesBase Pay: $21.62 / HourJob Category: Food Manufacturing, SanitationIndustry: Food ManufacturingEmployee Type: Hourly Non-ExemptRequired Degree: High schoolManage Others: NoContact Information:Name: Kayte EdelenEmail: kedelen@THERMOPACLLC.COMRequirements Responsible for daily clean-up of all production areas and equipment; clean and sterilize machinery, utensils, and other equipment used to process or store raw materials and products.Work with several cleaning chemicals and tools in a safe knowledgeable manner.Disassemble, clean, run and reassemble all equipment, pipes, conveyors, etc. in the processing and packaging areas.Clean floors, walls, racks, etc. throughout the facility.Responsible for assuring plant is acceptable and cleaned prior to pre-operation inspection by AmeriQual and USDA personnel.Qualifications Ability to perform cleaning scrubbing duties using various chemicals and pressure washers in accordance with proper sanitation requirements.Ability to read and understand chemical labels and use general math skills to mix proper concentrations.Ability to follow all work instructions and safety procedures.Ability to communicate and interact within sanitation department and with other departments and management officials.Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively with a high level of dexterity; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to grasp with one or both hands and extend arms up to 3 feet at, below, or above shoulder height repeatedly throughout the shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must also have the ability to distinguish color codes on packaging materials. Operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required.
