QA Automation & Manual Engineer (Java & Selenium)

RIA Solutions Group is looking for a talented QA Automation & Manual Engineer to join our team in developing outstanding software solutions for one of our clients in the United States. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API and FE automated test frameworks for Web applications. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by implementing robust testing strategies and working closely with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment. The utilized Tech Stack in the development process: Java, Selenium, RestAssured, Jira, TestRail, BitBucket or Git, SQL The approaches we use are based on Scrum/Agile methodologies; we plan, revise, review, and deploy using a Jira Scrum Board. Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium to ensure functionality and performance in web applications Utilize ResrAssured to create, execute, and maintain API automated tests Manage and create manual test data and test cases to facilitate efficient and accurate test execution and maintenance process, ensuring test coverage for all critical functionalities Conduct SQL database queries and work with SQL database viewers to validate backend data integrity and accuracy Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams using Jira and TestRail for test management, bug tracking, and reporting. Follow Git processes for source code management, ensuring version control and collaboration within the QA team Actively contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment, working effectively within a multicultural team Requirements Proficiency in Java with proven experience in coding and debugging 4+ years of experience in QA Automation Hands-on experience with Selenium for automating web-based applications Experience with API (RestAssured) for developing API automation tests Familiarity with SQL and ability to query databases to validate and verify data integrity Strong understanding of test case creation, execution, and maintenance for automated testing Experience with Jira and TestRail for issue and test management Familiar with Git processes for version control Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying issues and providing solutions Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Committed to ongoing professional development Excellent verbal and written communication skills Collaborative team player Fluent in English, both verbal and written Hybrid way of working Technical conferences/workshops/certifications sponsorship Private medical insurance at Allianz-Tiriac Extra vacation days based on seniority in the company Parking/public transportation sponsorship if you choose to work from the office Sport activities sponsorship Bookster library subscription RIA Events: Project Gatherings, Location Gatherings, Work Anniversaries, and other team activities About Us Headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, RIA Solutions Group is a visionary software development company.
