AWS Solution Architect
Role : AWS Solution Architect Location : Walnut Creek, CA ( Onsite)Note : F2F Interview in Walnut Creek, CAJD :We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-native solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should possess a valid AWS Solution Architect Certification and have hands-on experience in cloud architecture, migration, security, networking, automation, and cost optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign scalable, secure, high-performing, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures.Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises and other cloud platforms to AWS.Develop architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.Design and manage AWS networking components such as VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, and VPN.Implement security best practices using IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, and AWS Organizations.Architect highly available and resilient solutions leveraging EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and other AWS services.Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and business teams to define cloud strategies.Optimize cloud costs using AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Savings Plans, and Reserved Instances.Guide and mentor technical teams on AWS best practices and governance.Support disaster recovery, backup, monitoring, and compliance requirements.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.Expertise in:EC2, S3, EBS, EFSVPC, Route 53, Transit GatewayRDS, DynamoDB, AuroraECS, EKS, LambdaAPI Gateway, SQS, SNSCloudWatch, CloudTrailIAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDutyExperience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).Mandatory CertificationAWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or ProfessionalAWS Certified Security Specialty or DevOps Engineer Certification is an added advantage.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs.Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management.Experience in multi-account AWS environments and landing zone architecture.Key CompetenciesSolution ArchitectureCloud Migration & ModernizationSecurity & ComplianceInfrastructure AutomationDisaster Recovery & Business ContinuityStakeholder ManagementTechnical Leadership
