Barrington High School - General Office Clerk (12 months) Barrington Public Schools Barrington High School - Barrington, Rhode Island Job Description Barrington Public Schools General Office Clerk Job Description Reports To: Building Principal Job Goal: To contribute to the efficient operation of a school office so that it can play its effective part in the education process. Qualifications: High School Diploma Skilled in the use of personal computers and various office equipment Proficient with all aspects of Google/Excel and other software applications that support school operations Administrative Assistant/clerical experience To support Barrington's commitment to diversity and to foster inclusion, respect, and equity in education, the successful candidate will be selected from a diverse pool of candidates. Performance Responsibilities: Maintains attendance and other student records as shall be required, also protects the confidentiality of these records. Types a variety of materials, such as letters, student records, reports, memos, purchase orders, etc., from rough drafts, general instructions or through established procedures. Acts as a receptionist, answers inquiries from the public, screens calls, and makes appointments. Performs various related office duties as assigned. Assists the administrative team.
