Medical Liability Underwriter

A company is looking for an Underwriter to support the Underwriting team in delivering exceptional customer service and managing policy processing. Key Responsibilities:Support the AVP of Underwriting in the production, selection, pricing, control, and servicing of insurance policies Analyze, evaluate, and make underwriting decisions in line with guidelines, coordinating with other underwriting staff Collaborate with Sales to build and manage relationships with agents/brokersRequired Qualifications:3+ years of experience as an Underwriter in Medical Professional Liability Insurance Ability to operate with urgency and meet processing deadlines Familiarity with regulatory requirements and Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) rules Production Underwriting experience is considered an asset Candidate location preferred on the West Coast or able to work permanent West-Coast hours
