Job Profile: Implementation Consulting Professional 3 Business Title: Training & Implementation Consultant (Enterprise) Location: Remote - US Department: Professional Services Report To: Sr. Manager, TruckMate - Professional Services Our Company Trimble is a global technology company that connects the physical and digital worlds, transforming the ways work gets done. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience implementing enterprise application software with external clients. This role is responsible for analyzing customers' as-is operations, identifying opportunities to improve processes, developing improved processes and implementing TMS software. Additional responsibilities include customer training, problem identification, issue mediation and delivering a course of action while implementing software to our clients. The candidate will have technical database skills focused on Operations, Customer Service, Accounting and Financial related areas of the product and will be groomed for wellness reviews and business process assessments. The candidate will learn the software at a level to augment the quality of solutions provided to our customers. Primary Responsibilities Define and document customer requirements: overall business process and workflow. Identify reporting needs. Define data structure and definition. Identify opportunities to improve business processes. Configure and implement software: setup of software modules. Internal modeling of customer processes. Provide customer training. Consult on go-live cutover. Assist in resolving customer issues related to software implementation. Assist in delivering technical solutions to customer issues when applicable. Administrative duties: accurate entry of time for billable and non-billable on a daily basis; participation/compliance in Trimble People Experience activities; engagement surveys. Provide daily recaps of customer engagement activity to Trimble project managers and customer stakeholders. Respond to customer and internal inquiries in a timely manner: review and respond to email/requests on a daily basis. Communicate realistic response/delivery dates to customer and internal stakeholders; communicate changes to delivery dates in a timely manner. Required Skills At least 3-5 years of experience implementing and/or supporting software with external clients. BA/BS or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google for Work applications. Ability to work independently. Strong ability to translate business issues into systems and operational solutions. Time management skills to handle multiple task assignments and prioritize work appropriately. Strong leadership and prioritization skills; ability to build consensus and drive decision making; proven ability to work cross-functionally to accomplish objectives. Ability to learn quickly, and to remain current with rapidly developing software in an ever-changing industry. Strong follow-through, with a willingness to own and manage projects from end to end. Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating the ability to work with internal and external customers. Other duties as assigned. Travel Requirements: 60–80%; ability to travel overnight 4 to 5 days per week. Preferred Skills Knowledge of enterprise-wide software in the transportation industry. Experience with TruckMate systems. Operations or Administration experience in the transportation industry.
