As an Equipment and Supplies Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company has the necessary equipment and supplies to operate safely and efficiently. This includes managing inventory, performing maintenance, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective operations.
Responsibilities:
Inventory and maintenance of equipment.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory records of equipment at each account, as well as their maintenance records.
Maintain inventory and maintenance records of equipment at home office, creating a check out process for managers, floor team and ancillary staff.
Maintain records of warranties of equipment and service agreements for equipment.
Inventory and upkeep of supply closets at accounts.
Track supply use and restocking supplies timely.
Work with Operations Manager to keep supply costs within budget and/or price shop to ensure that we have the best rates.
Maintain inventory of supplies at home office, creating a sign out process for tracking who uses the supplies, what supplies need to be restocked.
Policies and Compliance.
Work with Operations Manager to create and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation as it pertains to equipment and supply use, to ensure an efficient operation.
Updating SDS binders at each location annually, or as needed when new supplies are added to the rotation that the company may use.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role or related field
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license with a good driving record (approximately 10 hours of driving per week)
Working Conditions:
Office environment with occasional travel to accounts (approximately 10 hours of driving per week)
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
