Software Engineer III - Full Stack Job number: 865 This is a remote position. Primary Responsibilities Estimates and completes development tasks including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis with minimal feedback and guidance from the team. Practices technical and communication skills to improve context knowledge and mentor junior developers. Assesses and diagnoses issues with the systems they own, prioritizing problem areas based on alignment with other practice areas. Participates in on‐call rotations with their team as necessary. Presents on and writes about their work to both internal and external parties. Participates in planning sessions, building an understanding of major architectures and design patterns. Supports recruiting efforts by evaluating homework assignments and potentially assisting with interviews. Exhibits influential skills to drive improvements in team engineering processes and practices. Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the business, how practices interact, and the customer problems being solved. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of engineering experience. Expert experience with Ruby on Rails, API Design & Development. Experience with React/Redux, JavaScript, HTML & CSS. Experience with Postman, Datadog and RSpec. Experience responding to and triaging production issues. Preferred Qualifications Prior government contracting experience. Experience with VA Systems.
