Title: Product Manager - Retail Product Lines 3Location: Beaverton, ORDuration: 6+ months contractPayrate: $60-$65/hr on w2WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with making world class training apparel and understands what product excellence means.An individual who has a history of effectively influencing internal and external partners. This person works collaboratively with others as part of a triad team, supporting efforts to achieve meaningful objectives and remaining connected to sports and sport lifestyle daily. They are expected to think ambitiously, overcome obstacles, innovate, and implement strategies to benefit the athlete.The candidate needs to have heightened awareness of Women’s performance industries/competitive landscape, a passion for and women’s product, and confidence with verbal and written communication. Experience working on bras preferred.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONIf this is you, you will manage and oversee the product creation for our elite to everyday training athletes in Women’s Training Apparel. This is a high visibility role with both strategic and creative facets of the work.You will lead product and design reviews, connect with merchandising at key strategy check-ins, participate in cross-functional meetings, create compelling visual tools to influence design, merchandising and our downstream geography partners.Product Strategy and Business Insight:Defining and driving a vision and product strategy that transcends the sport and drives energy at retailWorking with design and merchandising to enable clear storytelling all the way to our athletes and consumersPartnering with sports marketing, training athletes and consumers to gather insights and product approvalKey competencies:Leads with a positive collective spirit and creates a ‘one team’ environment across functionsDemonstrates the capability to effectively navigate unclear situations and establish a clear path forward for the cross-functional team in ambiguous circumstances.Ability to communicate in consistent, clear, agile and timely manner with cross-functional partners - written and verballyStrategic thinking with ability to balance elite athlete needs and unlock retail opportunitiesConsistently looks at trend and cultural insights to help shape and understand the businessAcknowledges and celebrates differences to arrive at the best outcomeLeads by example and can hold team accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering quality workContinually works on a growth mindset to open new ways of operating and learning.Qualifications:Minimum 6 years' relevant experience in product-related rolesProduct management experience and knowledge in performance apparel a plus
