Overview
In this role you will design, develop, and verify GNC algorithms for missiles and space systems. You join a skilled team delivering navigation, guidance, and control solutions across flight regimes and test environments. You will build and test models, validate real-time algorithms, and support ground and flight tests. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence how complex vehicles achieve precise trajectories and robust performance.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test and verify embedded algorithms for inertial tracking/navigation and sensor fusionValidate complex models and simulations using Kalman filters and related techniquesEvaluate system performance and verify requirements at system/subsystem levelsSupport ground and flight tests, including Hardware-In-The-Loop activitiesCollaborate in small cross-functional teams on various programs and participate in reviews
Key requirementsBS in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related STEM field with 1+ years of experienceInterim clearance to start; US citizenProficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C++Experience in solving problems and developing algorithms in at least 3 GNC sub-domainsKnowledge of Navigation or Inertial Tracking concepts and state estimation techniquesExperience validating C++ algorithm simulations and hardware models with real-time dataExposure to real-time GNC algorithms and HWIL environmentscollaborative teamworkstrong problem-solvingeffective communication in technical reviewsMATLABPythonC++
