JOB DETAILS:Location: CanadaJob Type: Contractual (1 year contract with opportunity for extension/conversion)Role: Supervisory AnalystWork Mode: Remote (from within United States)Work Timings: 2 PM ET to 11 PM ETYears of experience: 2+ yearsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Approve equity, fixed income and strategy research reportsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and the firm’s editorial guidelines, including that research be clear and fairEnsure recommendations are substantiated by relevant data and investment rationales contain logical integrity, realistic assumptions and an assessment of risksEnsure research does not contain promissory language, exaggerated claims, gambling language, opinions that lack a reasonable basis, and unsubstantiated negative management commentaryInteract with management, research analysts, legal, compliance and colleagues to finalize research reportsAssess the accuracy of dataKEY COMPETENCE:CIRO certified Supervisory Analyst2+ years of relevant experienceGood interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skillsTeam player who can work in a high-pressure environment; should have the ability to prioritize and juggle several projects at the same timeMust be comfortable working independently with strong accountability, while also coordinating smoothly across global teams
