Job DescriptionLocation: Quince Office/Shop COJob Req ID: 15479Join our amazing team and contribute as a:Loader OperatorABOUT THE ROLE\nThe Loader Operator operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas.WHAT YOU&#39;LL ACCOMPLISH\n\nDemonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas;\nPractice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to:\n\nAssessing risks before starting tasks;\nOnly performing authorized activities;\nUtilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).\n\n\nStarts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material;\nPerform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation. Performs routine maintenance on loader, such aslubricating, fueling, and cleaning;\nMaintain an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers serviced\nDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\n\nWHAT WE&#39;RE LOOKING FOR\n\nOne - to -three (1-3) years of loader operator experience\nBasic mechanical maintenance knowledge and skills.\nProven safety record - Amrize prioritizes SAFETY above all.\nBasic computer skills\nMicrosoft Office & SAP\n\nAdditional Requirements\n\nSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
