Description & RequirementsAs an intern at Forvis Mazars, you will gain valuable experiences that will help guide what you want to work in after graduation. You will work on client engagements like those assigned to our entry-level associates, gaining exposure to a variety of industries, and testing out your technical know-how. You will work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skillset. How you will contribute:Preparing tax returns involving complex issues and with a concentrated focus on corporate income tax compliancePreparing tax projections and other tax planning strategiesUsing research services to increase technical knowledge and provide valuable services to clientsParticipating in client meetings alongside FORVIS partners and managersDelivering Forvis Mazars’ commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clientsWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Effective time managementStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well with a team as well as independentlyProblem-solving attitudeWillingness to take initiativeClose attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and against deadlinesMinimum QualificationsPursuing an accounting or finance degreeSolid technical accounting or finance knowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred QualificationsPursuing CPA eligibility Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall) Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
