With over 2,000 professionals worldwide, we support more than 100 clients in transforming complex challenges into lasting competitive advantages.Job Description:Detailed Description of Responsibilities:Implement building construction projects to support site.Coordinates construction scheduling and communication.Manage daily construction and RFI support for construction projects.Act as liaison between in-field construction and project management.May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials and purchase orders. Supervises construction activity in the field.Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment delivery, installation, and scheduling.Have knowledge of general building construction methods.Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets specifications and drawings.Coordinator RFI’s and CCR’sGeneral Description:Responsible for managing general contractors and subcontractors, testing agencies, budgets and schedules on specific buildings in support and coordination of overall plant construction project completion. Administer construction contracts; conduct on-site inspection to monitor plan compliance. Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedule in compliance with plans and specifications. Research, plan, and administer building projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, and building materials. Present status reports to owner. Receive, review and coordinate contract changes into project delivery. Be intimately and completely knowledgeable of current and future activities in area(s) of responsibility and be able to implement countermeasures to support project schedule.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience in industrial construction projects with emphasis on building construction (greenfield or brownfield)Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methodsProficient drawing review and field application abilitiesOSHA 30 certificationAbility to properly manage a construction schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day.Ability to ascend & descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant.Competent with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OutlookStrong organization and communication skills.
