A qualified candidate must be able to utilize their business knowledge to deliver profit plan targets (Net Sales and Direct Contribution Margin (DCM) and provide a unique value proposition to their assigned Retailers. In this position, you will work closely with the Brand/Product/Shopper Marketing and Demand Planning teams to deliver the business plans across all product categories of the Consumer Packaged Goods under the Swash, everydrop, & affresh brands. This role builds strategic strong customer relationships, challenges the status quo and leads with accountability, bias for action and one Whirlpool values. Your responsibilities will includeDevelop and execute Retail specific go-to-market strategies (product, promotions, placement, in store activity, etc.) to increase sales through efficient management of promotional guidelines to accelerate both Whirlpool Corporation and Retailer growth through expansion in both current retail markets & prospect for new retail outletsBuild trade relationships and work together to mutually drive initiatives forward by analyzing data with attention to detailLead with a customer first mindset, challenge the status quo and leverage thought leadership to approach complex problemsOwn outlook, supply/demand planning for assigned Retailers & drive predictability across the value chain while managing the P&L for your respective accountsAnalyze and understand weekly drivers and market / competitive changes leveraging Point of Sale (POS) data & post audit test & learnsMaster storytelling and communicating the benefits of our product and how they stack up against the competition in external facing decks to win line reviews to expand distributionPractice agile, creative problem solving by working independently and with direct team on frequent, short deadlines · 10-25% travel required within the USMinimum requirementsBachelor's degree2+ years of sales experiencePreferred skills and experiencesMBABachelor's degree in Business or MarketingCPG ExperienceExperience buying, selling, or marketing and merchandising consumer packaged goodsExperience in driving growthStrong analytical abilities with the ability to utilize data to formulate or support strategiesStrong P&L AcumenAn in-depth understanding of trade channel selling processes / channel management, and financial analysisExceptional communicator with impeccable interpersonal skills, clear and effective writing, and excellent presentation skillsIn-depth knowledge of products and brandsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyLeadership skills with the ability to positively influence the CPG cultureProject management and proven organizational skillsPlease submit your application directly at: https://jobs.whirlpool.com/careers/job/34398913699.
