****$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS****Do you have a passion for enriching the lives of persons with disabilities?Join our team today and make a difference!Pay: Starting at $86,412.04 annually ranging to $89,004.40 annually for qualified experienceSCHEDULE:Monday-Friday, 1st shiftNo On Call, No Weekends!Total: Full-Time (40 hours/week)SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYThe Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the health and wellbeing of the individuals served, as well as, assisting in developing medical policies/procedures, in-service training, and supervision of personnel in regards to medical issues and medication administration under the oversight of the DON. All individuals served are adults with intellectual disabilities in a group home or day program setting.WORKING RELATIONSHIPThis position reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Develops and maintains relationships with the following:Executive DirectorOperations DirectorOffice AdministrationProgram AdministrationDirect Support StaffExternal AgenciesQUALIFICATIONSValid Nursing Degree/LicenseGood interpersonal relationships, verbal communication skillsGood judgment and ability to handle confidential informationAbility to handle stressful and/or crisis situationsGood time-management skills (ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks)Must hold a valid CT driver's license and be insurable with Network's insurance carrierJOB RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure compliance with DDS regulationsCarry out the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Network, Inc., while following all governing regulations as they pertain to group homes and intellectually and physically disabled individuals.Responsible for all medical care for residents in Network's group homesOversee general health and welfare of day program participantsProvide medical assessments as needed for residentsEnsure proper procedures are followed in med administration and conduct onsite pass & pour practicums, along with C.U.P. training at group homesEnsure nursing procedures are in compliance with all agency and DDS policiesAssist Director of Nursing when neededEnsure program compliance with medical protocol through timely and accurate reporting of medical data, both internally and externally as neededPerform other duties as required by Director of NursingEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEGraduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program and maintains a current Registered Nurse license through the State of CT.Monday through Friday, 1st shiftFull-Time: 40 hours/week
