Warehouse Assistant (Wheat, Full-time, Seasonal)

LCS is seeking skilled individuals who are pursuing a career in agriculture or simply have an interest in getting involved in agricultural research. Summer positions are available from August through late October with flexible starting and ending dates. Positions will have a significant focus on wheat production and harvest. Join us in producing top-notch wheat varieties for farmers and consumers! Position Duties Include Seed processing (threshing, bagging, etc) Preparation and packaging of seed for planting Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Hard-working and detail oriented. Able to work long hours and be open to limited weekend work Willing to work in all weather conditions Physical Demands Throughout the course of the season, work will be performed outside in the heat and rain as well as back at the shop. Must be able to: Routinely lift 50 Lb boxes and bags of grain Stand for an extended period of time Be able to work quickly and efficiently under time constraints Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $19.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Agriculture: 1 year (Preferred) Research: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Walla Walla, WA: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
