When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:Evaluates internal and benchmarking data to identify DEI opportunities in both purchased service and clinical contracts with a focus on savings.Effectively identify sourcing techniques, including social media, referrals, networking, and partnerships with community and professional organizations to expand DEI spend.Develops and implement BILH contracts to ensure cost-effective and quality-driven supplies and servicesManages vendor relationships, develops contract/relationship performance goals and criteria, and serves as a subject matter expert resourceWorks collaboratively with all key stakeholders, including supply chain, clinical departments, and finance on cost savings initiatives specifically relating to contracting operationsLeads and/or staffs multi-disciplinary teams to select/standardize contracting choices that maximize supply chain savings while meeting clinical and operational needs. Conducts and/or staffs group meetings to facilitate contract review, trials, and implementationEvaluates the success of the contract once implemented, reconciles problems between BILH and vendors, and makes relevant recommendations to best meet the supply chain needs of the systemAnalyzes data and provide cost savings reports to leadership on a routine basisShares information and educates managers and physicians throughout the system to advance others' ability to improve supply chain performanceBuilds, maintains, and manages strong partnerships with our strategic vendorsEducation:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, supply chain management, or a closely related field is preferred; Master’s Degree preferredLicensure, Certification & Registration:Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) certification preferredExperience:Seven (7) years of purchasing, contracting, or materials management experience, preferably in a healthcare settingFive (5) years or more of contract negotiating experience.Expertise in healthcare physician preference items and knowledge of clinical commodity items used in acute patient areas is preferred.Experience In Healthcare Value Analysis Is Preferred.The incumbent should have progressive management and leadership experiences Purchased Service proficiency is expected.Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsWorkday Experience PreferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong project management skills including the ability to plan, organize, and complete work projects in a cross-functional team settingResults and deadline-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressureStrong relationship management skills with the ability to gain buy-in from employees not directly under his/her span of controlAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingPreferred Qualifications & Skills:N/ADept./Unit-Specific Skills:N/AJob Description:Pay Range: $100,006.00 USD - $140,005.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
