The Shop Technician's responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with machinery, and performing routine checks to ensure operational reliability. The role will also involve operating forklifts, communicating with team members and stakeholders, and ensuring a safe and efficient workspace. Qualifications Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and experience with Heavy EquipmentProblem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issuesExperience and certification in Forklift OperationStrong Communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholdersBasic understanding of safety protocols in an industrial environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plusPrevious experience in a similar role is an advantage
