Distribution Associate Lead-2nd Shift
DutiesLead receipt of goods, verifying items against the record of shipment, inspecting condition.Reject damaged, excess or misdirected goods, route material to inspection, stores or other destinations.Lead selection, verification and packing for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, and transportation method.Check goods against shipping documents and authorizations.Verify identification and quality of product.Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.Route materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.Complete written and computerized documentation.Resolve inventory variances, tracking errors, and a wide variety of other issues.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent education and experience. Minimum of 5 years related experience. Forklift certification may be required.Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including handling exceptions. Basic reading, writing, and numerical ability. Strong verbal communication skills. Effectively coordinates team work activities. A valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.CompensationThis is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $26.56 – $34.37/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
