RN - PCU

Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit This is a 13-week contract position. 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with varying schedules. The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with progressive and critical health issues, including monitoring, medication administration, and the implementation of care plans. Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a progressive care setting. Monitor and assess patient conditions, recording vital signs, and reporting changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health care needs and discharge planning. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a progressive care unit. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Why ARMStaffing?
