Database Engineer

The Role:
- Lead the architecture, engineering, governance, and strategic direction of enterprise database platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Provide expert consultation and technical advice on IT infrastructure planning, engineering, and architecture for mission-critical systems
- Partner with enterprise architects, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business drivers and functional specifications into scalable system designs
- Drive the execution of complex work streams, establish platform standards, and guide modernization efforts to optimize performance, reliability, and security
- Leverage DevOps and modern development practices to deliver resilient, high-volume database solutionsWhat You'll Need
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, alongside a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in an IT operations environment with technical experience in distributed technologies or systems development (equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement)
