UCT is looking for a talented Director, Digital Transformation Program to join us in Hayward, CA, Phoenix, AZ or Austin, TX!This position will support the definition, planning, and execution of the portfolio of initiatives under the Digital Transformation (DT) Program and report directly to the Head of DT Program. Initiatives span manufacturing and supply chain, sales and account operations, product development, services, and corporate functions and will encompass both business processes and systems / tools. This position will support the planning, organization, and execution of key DT initiatives and will be responsible for, providing visibility across all initiatives through preparation of project plans, Gantt charts, and management presentations supporting each project. The position will require experience and expertise in manufacturing and supply chain. In addition, the position will periodically support other activities (strategy, M&A, and ELT Chief of Staff activities) as required in support of the SVP of Corporate Strategy and Development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Baseline the current state of initiatives and governanceUnderstand the current stage of identified initiatives (e.g., concept phase, planned, in-flight)Take inventory of information pertaining to initiative charter, team membership, scope including business processes and systems, initiative plan, governance, KPI, and value caseAssess key challenges facing initiatives and develop mitigations Identify new initiatives and develop a roadmapIdentify pain points and initiatives based on stakeholder discussions / interviews and existing assessments of end-to-end enterprise capabilities, processes, and systemsPrioritize and sequence initiatives, identify dependencies, and develop a transformation roadmapDevelop details for initiatives, identify resource and investment requirements, and develop a value case to establish an executable roadmap Execute initiatives following project management standardsDefine and execute a structured approach to managing initiatives leveraging existing ways of working, templates, and guidelines as appropriateRelaunch or launch initiatives, ensuring project resource alignment and plan task detailsExecute project phases, ensure improvements are implemented, and validate achievement or line of sight to achievement of value casePrioritize and manage issues that arise in a prioritized and exception-based mannerSelectively “roll up the sleeves” and help teams overcome high priority initiativesContinuously refine and update initiative charters and plans using the appropriate change management controlsContinuously develop and refine program management techniques Provide thought leadership by leveraging experience in manufacturing and supply chainProvide expertise in manufacturing and supply chain during the initiative definition, planning, and roadmapping phaseProvide expertise in manufacturing and supply chain in the execution of initiativesCollect and provide initiative data and information for management reviewProvide initiative status details per standards that enable clear project status communicationsWork with initiative owners to update initiative details – timelines, resources, financial / operational success criteria and outcomesSchedule, prepare and deliver initiative reviews for stakeholders at key initiative milestonesMaintain initiative details, status and prescribed documents in shared repositoryKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven program management track record including experience with large scale, cross-enterprise programs spanning business process and technology transformationStrong experience and functional knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain, in addition to familiarity with sales and account operations, product development, services, and corporate functionsRobust strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to distill complex data and dynamics into actionable recommendations.
