Master Class 8 Truck Painter and Designer

Dynamic Transit, a transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Full Time Painter to join our mechanic team in our Hazelwood shop. Position Duties: Custom Paint for Peterbilt and Kenworth tractors Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying undercoats Mix and match paint colors using a paint code to achieve desired results Utilize power tools for sanding and buffing Use hand tools for detailed work such as trim and touch-ups Perform minor auto body repairs and address rust spots Handle auto glass removal and installation Basic Qualifications (MINIMUM): Proven experience in auto body repair and painting Familiarity with mechanic work is a plus Experience in custom paint schemes preferred, but not required Experience in pinstripe paint work preferred, but not required Proficiency in using power tools for sanding and buffing Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures Ability to detail vehicles to a high standard Skilled in using hand tools for precise work Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Benefits: Medical, dental, & vision insurance Short term disability, life, critical care, & accident insurance Paid vacation 401K Profit sharing Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Auto painting: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Hazelwood, MO 63042 (Required) Work Location: In person
