Job description: RN Stepdown/Telemetry – Travel Requirements: Minimum 1–2 years of recent Stepdown/Telemetry or Medical-Surgical experience BLS certification required ACLS certification required TNCC certification preferred NIHSS certification required Active Iowa RN license required Job Details: Shift Type = Nights Shift Hours = 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Assignment Length = 13 Weeks (03/09/2026 – 06/07/2026) On-Call = None Weekend Requirement = Every other weekend (EOW) Holiday Rotation = Required if holiday falls during contract (Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day) Patient Ratio = Per Stepdown/Telemetry standards Unit Type = Cardiovascular Unit Description of job: SnapCare is seeking a skilled Stepdown/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Unit at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center in Dubuque, IA. In this role, you will provide care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and intermediate-level acuity support. The RN will assess, monitor, and manage complex medical and post-cardiac patients while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. This position requires strong telemetry interpretation skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.
