Job DescriptionAs a Store Manager with Longines, you are responsible for driving sales, delivering refined customer service and demonstrating strong clientelling skills. You will manage, mentor, and develop a highly specialized sales team to the Company brand standard. You will own your brand at the store level. You will help to ensure all promotions, product training, and floor presentations are effectively in place to execute what will happen to drive sales today as well as for future growth. You will the brand, inside and outside the boutique.ProfileResponsibilities:Ability to build revenue, manage back-office operations and supervise selling professionalsDevelop the strategies and plans to achieve sales results through clientelling, superior customer service,events, collaborating and traffic generating actionsEnsure a consistent, quality store experience for customersThink strategically and drive the business to company standardsPrioritize, plan, delegate, administrate and adapt to business needsMaximize inventory, cash control and loss prevention techniquesExperience in selling timepieces is a big plusEnsure of proper staffing of the store thru recruitment and retentionTrain and lead employees to successful selling and customer serviceResponsible for achievement of annual sales goalsOversee assigning of monthly sales goals to associatesConduct regular management meetings to review performance, operations, and employee relations issues, and to discuss strategy with management teamReview status of sales associates' clientele development, including review of client booksConduct orientation, train, coach, and manage all employees in execution of daily tasks and to maximize sales including completion of all reviews and performance assessment proceduresCollaborate with HR to oversee recruitment and hiring of store staffCoordinate and actively participate in in-store activities, which include seasonal events, trunk shows, contests, and all involved tasksAdhere to and oversee compliance of established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping ofCompany funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures, and overall maintenance of the storeEnsure that proper channels of communication exist between the store and Corporate OfficeHelp solve problems that affect the store's service, efficiency, and productivityAll other duties assigned by ManagementRequirementsMust have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalentBachelor’s Degree in Management, Business or equivalent preferredMust have 3-5+ years’ retail store experience; leadership experience with sales and luxury merchandise a plusStrong multi-dimensional leadership ability, enjoy working in a culturally diverse environmentAble to make sound decisions with relevant facts at hand and drive for resultsGood problem solving skillsMust be able understand and analyze financial details of retail businessAbility to provide outstanding customer service in line with Brand expectationsExcellent selling and customer service skillsWork independently and on weekends and outside of regular office hoursFluency in English and other languages as required by locationMust have excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint)Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for qualityMust be able to adhere to deadlines and response to inquiries within a require time frameMust be able to sustain level of professionalism; friendly demeanor;The ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staffAbility to multi-task and handle changing prioritiesAble to work well with minimal supervision; self-starterAbility to deal with conflict and able to influence across functional linesBilingual is a plusThis is primarily an active position, which requires the Manager to have the ability to stand approximately 5 – 8 hours per day usually 5 - 7 days per week. During peak sale periods (e.g. Holiday, Back-to-School), will work for long periods throughout a work day. Requires to climb ladder or ascend/descend stairs in order to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale. Required to lift items weighing 5 – 25 lbs regularly without assistance. In certain circumstances, weights may be higher. Required to work an average of 40 hours per week. Finger dexterity is necessary.Compensation & BenefitsThe compensation for this role is $90,000–$115,000 annual base salary, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
