We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Food & Nutrition Services Registered Dietitian 1, will be an experienced and competent dietetic professional with a Bachelor's degree or higher who is responsible for the assessment, intervention implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of patients through the Nutrition Care Process. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.Job Requirements / QualificationsQuality/RegulatoryPatient Care and Safety* Utilizes nutrition screening tools to appropriately identify patients at nutrition risk.* Utilizes the Nutrition Care Process for the assessment, diagnosis, intervention, development, and monitoring and evaluation of patients.* Initiates nutrition assessment and nutrition care plans utilizing extensive knowledge and expertise in the Nutrition Care Process for patients with complex medical conditions, including critically ill patients and those on enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support.* Provides nutrition counseling for inpatients and outpatients as indicated.* Adheres to nutrition care guidelines, nutrition care manual, department/facility guide lines and/or protocols to provide evidenced based nutrition care.What qualifications you will need:Education: Bachelor's degree in related fieldLicensure / Certification: Licensed as a dietician in the state of Tennessee or licensure in state of residence (90 days to obtain licensure in state of residence if not Tennessee)Experience: healthcare experience preferredParkridge Valley offers behavioral health.
