Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Description We are seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support our daily operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of general maintenance tasks and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble furniture such as shelving, work benches, and desks Install and replace light bulbs Paint walls and equipment as needed Remove and dispose of waste and wood debris Move and arrange equipment, furniture, and fixtures Install or hang wall clocks, signs, posters, and other items Sort and organize materials and parts What We're Looking For: Comfortable using basic hand and power tools Able to read and follow instruction manuals Capable of working independently and managing time effectively Able to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working on ladders and at heights Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Dress Code: Non-slip, steel-toed shoes required; hard hats, safety glasses, and work gloves may be required based on tasks. Requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with hazardous materials handling Forklift training or certification a plus Please Note This role does not include electrical or mechanical equipment work You will not be overseeing contractors or vendors Building inspections or formal audits are not part of the job duties Ready to join our team?
