Brea Hills Recovery Position Overview: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – Detox ProgramThe Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Brea Hills Recovery provides direct support and supervision to clients receiving services in a medically supervised detoxification and residential recovery setting. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment while supporting individuals through early recovery, withdrawal stabilization, and transition into continued levels of care.Behavioral Health Technicians collaborate closely with nursing, medical, and clinical staff to monitor client safety, observe withdrawal symptoms, assist with daily operations, and ensure accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) and facility logs.
