Job SummaryHealth Information Associates (HIA) is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative to drive new pipeline creation through proactive outbound prospecting. This is a true “hunter” role focused on identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities and setting high-quality discovery calls and meetings for the Business Development team.This role is ideal for a disciplined prospecting professional who excels at outbound outreach, understands complex B2B sales cycles, and consistently delivers qualified opportunities. The Business Development Representative plays a critical role in HIA’s growth strategy by fueling pipeline development and expanding market reach.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently research and identify high-value prospects using HubSpot, LinkedIn, and other data sourcesExecute high-volume, high-quality outbound prospecting through cold calls, email, social outreach, and multi-channel campaignsConduct market research and formulate strategies to execute successful service line and geographic based prospecting.Engage in service line–specific and geographic based prospecting to achieve HIA’s expansion goalsQualify prospects by uncovering business needs, challenges, buying triggers, and decision-making processesSet qualified discovery calls, meetings, and/or demonstrations for Business Development ManagersMaintain detailed, accurate, and timely records of all prospecting activities within HubSpotPartner closely with Marketing to refine outreach strategies, targeting, and messagingConsistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and meeting-setting goalsStay current on HIA’s services, value propositions, competitive landscape, and industry trendsRequired Skills & ExperiencePrevious successful outbound prospecting, lead generation, or sales development experienceProven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and meeting-setting targetsStrong cold-calling skills with confidence engaging senior-level stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience prospecting into healthcare organizations preferredProficiency with CRM and prospecting tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred)Highly organized, self-directed, and disciplined in managing daily outreach activitiesResilient, persistent, and motivated by performance-based goalsPerformance ExpectationsConsistent generation of qualified sales opportunitiesHigh-quality meetings that convert into active pipelineAccurate CRM documentation and reportingContinuous improvement in outreach effectiveness and prospect engagementWhy This Role MattersThis role is foundational to HIA’s revenue growth.
