Able to test and calibrate assemblies to meet tolerances, product specifications and work instructions. Work to achieve daily production schedule and to ensure the customer receives the highest quality product possible.Full TimeSchedule: Monday -Thursday 6:00am -4:30pm. Occasional overtime required on Fridays.Bilingual preferred - SpanishAssembles, using hand tools, hand grinding equipment assembly fixtures, and text devices according to customer specification and final product fitting and finishing.May use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product/customer specificationsIdentify and report units that fail tests or tolerance levelsMake adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specificationsReport and/or record any problems with parts and/or final assembly product or process to lead person and/or production manager or quality assurance personnelApply Steel finishing skills to prepare final products for powder coatingParticipate in the coordination of the flow of products throughout the m manufacturing processReport parts outages and component part shortages to lead person and/or production managerReport any quality concerns to lead person and/or production manager, Quality Assurance Personnel.RequirementsAchieve the daily production goalsSome welding experience and blueprint reading a plusOperate within the standard operating procedures and adhere to all applicable safety practicesWork closely with SR apprentices & fabricators as needed for the correct building processesEnsure work area is clean and organizedAbility to use hand tools and power toolsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailsGood interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others
