We are passionate about making a meaningful impact through our work.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Social Media Marketing Intern position based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Social Media team to support and execute the social media marketing strategies that apply to our clients’ needs. This role will also coordinate and communicate with our Content, Paid Media, Accounts, and Creative teams as needed. We're looking for candidates who are open to working across a wide range of industries with varying client objectives & expectations. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment & produce quality work with tight deadlines. Through this opportunity, you will be producing meaningful work that will impact each account you are assigned to. This internship is paid through a monthly stipend of $850–$1,250. College credit is available pending the University's guidelines and approval.Role Responsibilities:Coordinating tasks between departments and ensuring that deliverables are aligned and cohesiveOrganizing marketing efforts to ensure that deadlines are metAssisting in the development of social media strategiesComprehending and implementing social media tactics based on strategies from SMM and the clientSchedule posts in third-party social media publishing platforms, and ensure best practices are employedDevelop content calendars with written captions that are engaging and follow brand guidelinesMonitor interactions with the clients’ followers and audience promptlyKeep up to date with best practices in content writing, social media, and business/industry trends Understand the inbound marketing funnel and what roles social media and content playSupport the social media team with daily optimizations & weekly reportsPreliminary reporting Qualifications:Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related fieldPrevious organic social media internship or relevant experienceAn exceptional eye for detailAbility to juggle multiple tasks at once with tight deadlinesExperience using social media platforms for both B2B and B2C, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, etc. Creative thinker with the ability to work well and brainstorm new ideas autonomously, as well as with a team Previous experience with social scheduling and reporting software is a plus (HeyOrca, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc) Bonus: Influencer marketing experience – researching influencers for strategic campaigns, developing content with influencers, and reporting on performance
