Finish Carpenter - Viewrail

JPS Construction and Design is looking for a finish carpenter with experience installing Viewrail stair systems; must be willing to travel to jobs throughout RI and southeastern MA. Duties and Responsibilities: Install Viewrail systems for our residential construction projects throughout RI and MA. Attention to detail, with excellent finish carpentry skills for high-end, custom stair systems. Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to five years related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills: Ability to communicate courteously and professionally Ability to carry heavy loads up to 100 lbs Ability to read and interpret construction documents Detailed knowledge of building materials, methods, and codes Familiarity with Viewrail Stair Systems Proficiency with hand and power tools including saws, planers, nailers, and drills Basic math skills Problem-solving skills Organization Attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
