Sr. Full Stack Engineer

An AgTech SaaS startup is looking for help to continue building and scaling our product. We have a mobile and desktop app that leverage QR codes to serve as a user-friendly way for equipment operators to track their activity and communicate with each other easily. We kicked things off about a year ago and are nearing cash flow positive thanks to a focused team that believes in the value of what we’re building.We are looking to bring on our next engineering hire. You would be among 3-5 full-time and 2-3 part-time team members, and your primary responsibilities will be to work with product to translate design requirements into engineering tasks, developing out these said tasks, and then pairing with other developers to increase team productivity.If you’re looking for end-to-end product impact, company influence, with direct access to co-founders and customers, this is it. If you’re looking to work on bleeding-edge technologies, deep specialization, or large development teams, this is not it. Our magic number is five, and the ideal candidate has spent some time among both start-ups and large corporate teams, is familiar with the distinction, and therefore confident in the desire to work in a startup.We are a partially remote & distributed team, are focused on solving real problems, and are disciplined in delivering product value quickly & incrementally. We conduct short daily stands for alignment and then 1-2 weekly ad-hoc grooming sessions as needed to brainstorm and plan roadmap. We’re agile in spirit, but at our size, are kanban in reality. Our roadmap is thematic and follows a now - next - later schedule. We don’t obsess about story writing, customer pain is directly discussed among the team for discussion which gets parsed directly into itemized engineering tasks.Looking with someone comfortable with our stack of: react & react native (expo), graphql, node.js, gripp.it, azure, and mondodb technologies. We’re looking forward to building together! This role will report into our Seattle-based head of product and is a contract to full-time position offering $120-135k/yr + 0 - 0.25% equity.
