Systems Engineer
Job Summary Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Enterprise Technology team supporting studio production systems and broadcast technology environments. This role is responsible for maintaining production infrastructure, supporting media workflows, administering enterprise systems, and providing technical support for production operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems engineering, networking, endpoint management, and production technology.Key DetailsContract: 2-month contractLocation: Burbank, CASchedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)One week each month requires onsite coverage Monday through FridayPotential contract extension based on business needsCore ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain production systems, broadcast infrastructure, and enterprise technology environmentsAdminister Microsoft 365, identity management, user provisioning, and production network accessManage endpoint deployment, imaging, software installations, patching, and device lifecycle management across Windows, macOS, and mobile devicesTroubleshoot wired and wireless networking, production systems, and end-user technical issuesSupport server maintenance, streaming infrastructure, conference room technology, and production collaboration toolsPartner with production technology, media engineering, and infrastructure teams to implement new technology solutionsProvide onsite technical support during production events, including occasional evenings or weekends as neededRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience5+ years supporting enterprise IT environments as a Systems Engineer or Support EngineerStrong experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 administrationExperience supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure and troubleshooting connectivity issuesExperience with endpoint management tools such as JAMF, Microsoft Intune, or SCCMExperience with identity and access management, user provisioning, and device authenticationStrong troubleshooting skills supporting desktop, laptop, mobile devices, and production technology environmentsPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)Experience supporting broadcast, media production, or studio technology environmentsKnowledge of streaming infrastructure and production collaboration platformsExperience with mobile device management (MDM) solutionsExperience supporting stage technology or post-production environmentsSharePoint administration experienceExperience managing Creative Cloud deploymentsExperience with asset management and hardware procurementKey Competencies & BehaviorsExcellent customer service and communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving abilitiesHighly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple technical requestsCollaborative team player who works effectively across technical and business teamsCommitted to continuous improvement and knowledge sharingWork EnvironmentLocation: Burbank, CAWork Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)One full onsite week per month required for operational coverageOccasional evening or weekend support during production activities may be requiredCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is $31.00 and $45.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
