Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Mid-Level Design and Analysis Engineer to join our team in Hazelwood, MissouriA successful candidate will support Integrated Diagnostics Team activities focusing primarily on Built-In Test (BIT) for radar and other avionics systems. This includes requirements definition, qualification, authoring test plans, test procedure development, supporting/conducting testing, authoring test reports, developing Statements of Compliance to requirements, and potentially Control Account Management (CAM) activities. The candidate will also provide post­-implementation support as the systems are fielded by our international customers.Position Responsibilities:This position requires a proactive individual to participate on a multi-disciplined team supporting multiple avionic systems, which will provide the expertise necessary to specify the requirements and analysis of new and modified avionic systems for supportability, Built-In-Test (BIT) effectiveness, and testability attributesKnowledge and application of diagnostic design and support requirements and Customer/Supplier design specifications is required for the Subsystem, avionic box, and circuit card levelsEvaluate proposals, BIT analysis, and design-for-testability analysisParticipate in build-to/buy-to bid packages, supplier coordination of design and data issues and customer interface/coordinationPrepare formal data item and delivery,Perform Earned Value Management/Control Account Management activitiesIntegrated Product Development (IPD) team involvementDevelop and maintain fault reporting/isolating rules and logic for post-flight processing, supporting field queries regarding faults reported, fault reporting logic, and fault trend observation and/or general post-flight fault processingBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement1+ years' experience with electrical/electronic circuit design and/or analysis experienceExperience with radar, radios, weapons or avionic systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)Control Account Manager and Earned Value Management experienceActive U.S. Security ClearanceModel Based Engineering experienceFighter aircraft interface experienceFamiliarity with sophisticated Avionics Suites and Maintenance conceptsPrevious experience with military aircraft avionics maintenanceConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
