Speech Pathologist

Full-time, 40 Hours/week M-F, Between hours of 7AM - 7PMOnsite Boardman, OHSummary:The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients referred and provides instruction and assistance to patient's families as indicatedResponsibilities:1. Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using standardized and norm-references measures2. Provides management/treatment programs consistent with diagnosis and department protocols3. Provides timely documentation for medical records/insurance requirements per division standards4. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age5. Other duties as assigned.Other information:Technical Expertise1. Experience in Speech Pathology is required2. Experience in pediatric feeding preferred3. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required4. Experience in pediatric health care is preferred5. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is requiredEducation and Experience1. Education: Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required2. Certification: State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association [ASHA] is required.3.
