A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:/nMRI Tech - MRI Tech/n/nJob Details:/n• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM/n• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs/n• Take call when necessary/n• Perform wide variety of technical MRI procedures requiring independent judgment/n• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions/n• Administer contrast media following established procedures/n• Position patients and operate MRI equipment safely/n• Review images for clinically acceptable results/n• Respond to emergency situations and assist other technologists when needed/n• Maintain MRI suite in safe, locked-down environment at all times/n• Transport and position patients on procedure tables/n• Operate patient monitoring systems and all MRI workstations/n• Required certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT-MR, BLS certification/n• Minimum 1 year MRI experience required/n• Must complete accredited MRI program or hold ARRT-R certification/n• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure/n• Must demonstrate competence in magnet safety and pulse sequence parameters/n• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and cross-sectional anatomy required/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility operates a comprehensive MRI department providing advanced diagnostic imaging services to patients of all ages.
