We receive large quantities of clothing donations daily that we must clean, sort, and organize for our guests in need! Qualifications and Considerations · Be an attending member of North Phoenix Baptist Church with a love for the Lord and a willingness to serve. · Fluency in English and Spanish is required. · Ability to work well in varying temperatures including hot and cold environments. · Ability to lift 50 lbs. · Basic computer knowledge and ability. · Allergen Alert: the clothing we intake may initially contain pet hair and other allergens. Specific Job Responsibilities · Emptying clothing donation bins daily · Wash, dry, and sort clothing donations · Transporting cleaned clothes to sorting rooms · Aid volunteers with clothing intake process · Aid Clothing Warehouse Coordinator and/or Hope Center Director with various Hope Center duties as assigned. · Assist with setup for monthly First Friday events
