Power & performance Engineer

The Platform Power Efficiency Engineer will be responsible for optimizing the power consumption of our platforms. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement power-saving features and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of power efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement power management strategies to improve platform power efficiency.Conduct power consumption analysis and performance testing to identify power inefficiencies.Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to optimize power usage across the full stack.Conduct power-profiling and benchmarking to identify areas of improvement.Design and execute power validation tests to ensure effectiveness of power management strategies.Provide technical guidance and support for power-related issues during product development.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in power management or a similar role within the industry.Strong understanding of power efficiency metrics and benchmarking.Familiarity with power analysis tools and methodologies.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Skills:Experience with embedded systems and low-power design.Knowledge of power-efficient hardware architectures and components.Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, C++, or Shell for automation purposes.
