Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,488 per week

OneStaff Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Shelby, Montana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Critical access unit with 8 total beds (same unit as swing bed): 3 ER beds and 5 Med/Surg beds. Requires 2 years of experience; critical access experience preferred, ER background preferred over Med/Surg. First-time travelers accepted. Common patient types include PNA/COPD, general weakness, electrolyte imbalance, cardiac rule-outs, UTI, and diabetes. Ratios are typically 1:3 with 2 RNs per shift. RN duties may include ER registration in Meditech at midnight. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS. Preferred: CPI/MOAB, TNCC, NRP, PALS. Skills needed include IV starts, chest tube setup, triage, wound care, splints/casting assistance, assessments, and medication administration. Support staff includes CNA/HUC (same person), charge nurse depending on shift, phlebotomy M-F with call after hours, RT in house 0700-1500 (no call), hospitalist available 24/7 (not in house). No IV team, telemetry, or resource nurse. EMR is Meditech, Pyxis for meds, Baxter Sigma Spectrum pumps, Spacelabs monitors. About OneStaff Medical You deserve a partner that is working for you.
