Now Hiring | Casualty General Adjuster (Remote) We're hiring a Casualty General Adjuster for a fully remote, desk-level role , open to candidates in any U.S. state .The ideal candidate has a strong background in Auto Casualty claims along with experience handling 1st and 3rd party Property Damage . Bodily Injury experience is preferred and will be considered for higher-level opportunity.Current claims are primarily in Texas and Florida , so familiarity with TX and/or FL jurisdictions is a strong plus.Great opportunity for detail-oriented adjusters looking to grow in a remote, high-impact roleEvaluates the risk for incoming claims. Reviews coverage, set initial reserves and facilitates the need for outside field investigation. Manages litigation with a protocol. Sets budgets for claims and outside field spend. Controls all forms of claims costs. Prepares final reports to clients and assists in quarterly, or annual client specific audits.Responsibilities Client Interaction via phone and email/reportingOutside field and vendor direction/interactionDirect file handlingExamines claims forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions and other records to determine coveragesPrepares reports by collecting and summarizing information required by client, local, state and federal government and by CrawfordSettles claims by determining clients coverage's, liability, client's instructions and authority levels required by obtaining demands and making offers to claimants, issuing settlement checks, making filings with regulatory agencies, disposing of salvage, pursuing subrogation when appropriateControls claims costsDetermines if litigation is necessaryQualifications 4 Year college (Bachelor's Degree)7 plus yearsCoverage Analysis and the ability to interpret policy formsKnowledge of various statutory lawsMust be licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions. Must have a valid driver's license.Must complete designated courses while in position in order to advance.A variable schedule including on-call may be required. Depending on case load you may be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.Travel may be required during/outside of normal business hours when necessary.Bodily injury experience preferred
