Position: Admissions Advisor Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Admissions Advisor to join our team at Elevate. As an Admissions Advisor, you will play a critical role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from initial inquiry to enrollment. Responsibilities: Student Consultation: Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, responding to inquiries via various channels such as phone, email, or in-person visits. Conduct one-on-one consultations to understand students' educational goals, background, and career aspirations. Program Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Elevate's program offerings, curriculum, and unique value propositions. Effectively communicate program benefits and help students select the most suitable educational pathways. Application Management: Guide prospective students through the application process, providing step-by-step instructions and ensuring all required documents are submitted accurately and on time. Admission Requirements: Stay up-to-date with the admission criteria for different programs, ensuring applicants are informed about eligibility and academic prerequisites. Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with prospective students and maintain regular follow-ups to address questions, concerns, and provide additional support. Enrollment Support: Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the enrollment process, coordinating with academic advisors, financial aid, and other relevant teams to ensure a seamless transition for accepted students. Events and Recruitment: Represent Elevate at educational fairs, conferences, and recruitment events, promoting our institution and programs to attract potential students. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, applications, and enrollment status in the admissions database. Performance Metrics: Achieve individual and team goals related to student enrollments and other performance metrics set by the institution. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Experience: Previous experience in admissions, sales, is preferred. Candidates with transactional sales experience including but not limited to door to door, gym sales, and car dealership sales is preferred. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences and build rapport. Empathy: A genuine desire to help and guide students in their educational journey, showing empathy and understanding throughout the admissions process. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple student inquiries and applications efficiently. Team Player: A collaborative and cooperative approach to working with colleagues and other teams within the organization. Tech Savvy: Proficient in using various software and platforms, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
