Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to urgent care patients at our Golden, Colorado location. Clinic HoursFull-time providers typically work three 12-hour shifts per week. Golden, CO clinic hours are:Sunday: 9:00 AM 4:00 PMMonday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PMTuesday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PMWednesday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PMThursday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PMSaturday: 9:00 AM 4:00 PMSchedules may vary based on coverage needs. Responsibilities• Evaluate and treat patients in an urgent care and/or occupational health setting• Provide patient care aligned with NextCare s mission and service standards• Ensure patients understand care plans and follow-up instructions• Document care in the EHR system accurately and in a timely manner• Code and bill appropriately for all services delivered• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care clinical benchmarks• Follow up on patient care as needed• Deliver care in a legal, ethical, and compliant manner Essential Education, Experience and Skills• Active and unrestricted Colorado medical license (PA or NP)• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain with employment offer• NCCPA certification required for PAs• ANCC or AANP certification required for NPs• Must be able to treat patients of all ages, infant to geriatric• Minimum Bachelor s degree in PA Studies or Master s in Nursing/NP Program• Active BLS certification• Comfortable working with all age groups• EHR proficient• DOT certification is required; training provided if needed• Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays Valued Skills• Initial X-ray interpretation experience• Suturing and basic urgent care procedures• Master s degree in PA studies (for PA candidates)• Prior urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinic experience BenefitsNextCare offers full-time provider benefits which may include:• CME and license reimbursement• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• Health savings account• Basic life and voluntary life insurance options• Long-term and short-term disability• Employee assistance program• 401(k) with company plan options• Malpractice insurance• Paid time off benefitsBenefits offered per plan rules and eligibility requirements.
