Legal Support Specialist

A well-known global law firm is seeking a Real Estate Legal Support Specialist to join their collaborative and fast-paced team in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with exceptional organizational and communication skills who thrives in a deadline-driven legal environment.Work Environment: On-site 5 daysSchedule: Full-time | Overtime as neededCompensation: $85k + bonus + benefitsKey Responsibilities:Create, edit, proofread, and process legal documents, including correspondence, memoranda, closing documents, and other practice-specific materials.Edit opinions and legal documents with a high level of accuracy.Support real estate transactions and closings, including coordination of title matters, lien searches, and electronic recordings (e.g., Simplifile).Develop a deep understanding of client relationships and provide relevant support to attorneys.Navigate firm resources to assist attorneys and ensure compliance with client-specific requirements.Manage attorney calendars and legal files (paper and electronic), including scanning, organizing, and tracking final executed documentation.Handle document deliveries, open new matters, draft engagement letters and audit responses.Coordinate travel arrangements, process reimbursement expenses, and assist with billing-related tasks.Collaborate with paralegals and legal support teams; assist with overflow work and special projects.Evaluate and field incoming calls for supported attorneys.Skills & CompetenciesStrong administrative skills including time entry, travel planning, and invoice processing.Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including editing and research capabilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Windows-based software.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.7+ years of experience in a Real Estate department at a medium to large law firm.Experience with iManage preferred.
