Camp Robotics Coach (holiday & 2026 summer)

The organization is recognized as a Section 501(c)(3) charitable entity, supporting the next generation of tech leaders.Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Robotics Coach at Applied Computing Foundation, focusing on holiday and summer camps (Ski week camp from Feb 17 -20, Spring break & Summer camp). The coach will be responsible for leading and mentoring students in STEM-focused activities, guiding them through hands-on robotics projects, and teaching programming concepts. Additional responsibilities include providing training, fostering teamwork, and promoting critical thinking skills. This on-site role is located in Los Altos, CA primarily and multiple locations including San Jose, Milpitas, Cupertino, Fremont, in the bay area.QualificationsStrong knowledge and experience in Robotics and ProgrammingExcellent Communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to young learnersBackground in STEM and proven capability in training studentsPassion for education and working with children or young adultsFLL, FRC experience preferredPrior experience in a coaching or teaching role is a plusBachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Education) preferred
