Security Engineer

We're working with a leading IT services provider that partners with government agencies to deliver innovative technology solutions and support critical national infrastructure.The Role Support application security initiatives across web applications, APIs, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Perform secure application design, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps integration Administer Web Application Firewall (WAF) and File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) solutions Conduct security monitoring, log analysis, and support Tier II security operations Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices Support compliance, audit, and security authorization requirementsWhat You'll Need Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Security and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) Strong knowledge of web application security principles and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities Experience managing the full vulnerability lifecycle, including threat modeling and remediation Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) deployment, configuration, and tuning Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and automated security controls within CI/CD pipelines Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related fieldWhat's On Offer Opportunity to work on critical government applications and systems Competitive salary range of $115,000 - $190,000 annually Comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth A company culture grounded in purpose, resilience, and commitment to employeesApply via Haystack today!
