This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance, and providing technical support. You will be the primary administrator for the DIAL AWS GovCloud environment, overseeing platforms like AMANDA, FileCloud, and DIAL VDI. Your responsibilities include maintaining these critical environments to ensure reliable operations and seamless user experiences.Required Skill Set:Manage AWS infrastructure supporting business applications.Manage AWS infrastructure for VDI.FileCloud administration, including staff onboarding and troubleshooting.Advanced system security methods and techniques.Complete tasks, provide status updates, and adhere to quality standards.Handle on-call patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.Work independently with minimal supervision.Proactive learning of new systems and processes.Requirements:Experience with cloud adoption and server builds.Experience as an enterprise systems administrator.Experience in a customer-facing support or consulting role.Experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Design and implementation of distributed systems architecture.Troubleshooting complex distributed environments.Extensive knowledge of systems including hardware, software, networking, and storage.Strategic planning for cloud technology adoption.Performance tuning of cloud environments.Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and CLI with experience in VM infrastructure.Technical knowledge of infrastructure components such as Network, Storage, Linux/Windows, and IT security.
