People Operations Specialist

With employees and customers across dozens of countries, this organization supports some of the world’s most recognized brands and operates within a highly collaborative, international environment.We are seeking a People Operations Specialist to support employees globally while delivering an exceptional employee experience through operational excellence, HR support services, and process improvements.Contract through the end of the year$32/hour 40 hours a week - Monday through FridayFully remote working in ET or CTThis role will partner closely with cross-functional People teams including Talent, People Success, HRIS, Payroll, Total Rewards, and broader business stakeholders.What You’ll DoServe as the first point of contact for employee inquiries through a centralized case management and ticketing systemPrioritize, resolve, and escalate employee requests while maintaining excellent service standardsProvide support across a broad range of HR topics including policies, procedures, employee records, leave management, and operational requestsPartner with Payroll, HR teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve employee issues efficientlyMaintain and update internal knowledge base content to ensure employees receive accurate and consistent informationMonitor employee absences and assist with personal data requestsGenerate travel documentation and visa support letters when neededAssist with audit activities, reporting requests, and compliance-related initiativesSupport process improvement projects focused on automation, scalability, and service optimizationContribute to People Operations projects and additional initiatives as business needs evolveWhat We’re Looking For4+ years of experience within Human Resources, People Operations, HR Shared Services, or Employee Experience environmentsPrevious experience supporting employees through ticketing systems or shared services models preferredStrong understanding of HR principles, policies, and employee lifecycle processesExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAnalytical mindset with exceptional attention to detailExperience handling confidential and sensitive employee informationComfortable working in fast-paced, global environmentsExperience mentoring teammates or collaborating across functions is a plusHR degree, certification, or equivalent professional experience preferredFluent English required; Portuguese language skills are a plusIdeal BackgroundsCandidates may come from roles such as:People Operations SpecialistHR Shared Services SpecialistEmployee Experience SpecialistHR Operations AnalystSenior HR CoordinatorHR Generalist with shared services exposureEmployee Support SpecialistHR Service Center AnalystWhy JoinOpportunity to support a globally distributed workforceExposure to international HR operations and cross-functional projectsCollaborative and people-focused cultureRemote flexibility with hybrid support modelChance to influence employee experience and process innovation within a growing technology environment
