Job DetailsDescriptionHourly Wage: $18.92Description/Job SummaryPerform visual and physical inspections on finished goods to meet order specifications, production standards and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulationsResponsibilities/DutiesPerform visual and physical inspections on Lift Chairs, Scooters, and other Pride products by utilizing Fit, Form and FunctionEnsure conformance to order specifications and FDA regulations on final inspectionsConduct screening and/or re-work on nonconforming product per work instructionsPerform quality inspections on all incoming containersPerform order verification on customized ordersConsolidate shipping of finished goods and accessoriesVerify dimensional specifications with use of common measuring devicesAccurately document and communicate inspection resultsUse RF Scanner to accurately document product movement to ensure inventory accuracyOperate a powered-industrial forklift and/or a vertical lift to perform general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading finished goods to and from containers, trailers and racked locationsEffectively communicate daily results, concerns/issues and challenges to managementProvide solutions to challenges in order to maintain daily goalsEnsure conformance to order specifications and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations on final inspections in a specified department, area or on a designated lineEnsure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to managementComplete the Annual CTPAT Security TrainingFocus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgmentWork effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectationsAssist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all timesPride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessaryRequired SkillsMust be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honestMust Have The Ability ToMulti-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environmentRead and interpret work instructions, work orders, inspection criteria, tape measures, and company policies and proceduresIdentify and record factsSafely operate/drive powered-industrial forkliftsLift up to 50 lbs., Push/Pull up to 80 lbs.Must HaveRelentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvementA willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methodsBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and ExcelGood verbal and written communication skillsPreferred SkillsBasic working knowledge of Oracle preferredRequired ExperienceAt least 6 months in a Quality Assurance role OR at least 2 years of experience in a hands-on assembly, manufacturing, or warehousing role with specific quality guidelines/standardsPreferred ExperienceAt least 1 year of powered-industrial forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred*Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferredWarehouse environment has moderate forklift traffic, and may be cool in the winter and hot in the summerRequired EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred EducationAmerican Society for Quality (ASQ) certification preferredRequired QualificationsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the futureDETAILSThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusiveThis is a safety sensitive positionIn exceptional circumstances, some of the physical requirements of this position may be modified or eliminated as a reasonable accommodation for a person with a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities ActPride Mobility Products®/Quantum Rehab® is an Equal Opportunity employer.
